Rainbow diet is not scary if you eat with all colors. This is simple as ABC and it is easiest said to eat a rainbow a day!

Green greatness

For nutrition, green is the best. It means vibrancy, cleansing, energy and such foods are:

OK for oranges, YES for yellow

For yellow and orange, these are for immunity mostly. They are plant based and have loads vitamin C:

  • Cantaloupe melon
  • Summer and winter squash
  • Carrot
  • Yellow pepper
  • Grapefruit
  • Sharon fruits

All such foods are amazing for immunity boosting. It is known that lemon and orange and persimmon too, or peppers as well have loads vitamin C. grapefruits have red pink hues and this means lycopene, antioxidant. Melons also have antioxidants polyphenols for prevention of heart attacks and better blood flow.

Other colors

There are many choices for the rainbow diet, but this does not make it hard to choose. Start with green, add colors with time. Try many peppers, or white foods too. Even though they have no color, they still are nutritious due to phytochemical pigments which are colorless like the flavonoids that stop cancer growth.
